Constructing
public libraries in poor villages is inherent to the concept of cultural
development. Having strong faith in this idea, the Cultural Development
Fund (CDF) has established several libraries in villages that had long
been deprived of such facilities. The CDF has been keen on constructing
the libraries in a way that their architecture coincides with the
ambiance of corresponding villages. Each library comprises two reading
halls one for children (32 children) and another for youth (36 youth).
Both halls encompass not less than 4000 books covering all fields of
knowledge. Libraries also include a hall for hobbies and activities and
a hall for computer users. The garden is the most important component of
each library as it is used as a vast green area for free reading,
playing for children and entertainment.
