- A prominent writer, director, actor, and professor of drama. - obtained his M.a in drama from Emerson college, then he received his Doctorat de 3e cycle from Universite Paris VIII IN 1978. - delivered a lot of lectures and organized several workshops at different universities, conferences, and festivals in U.S.A, Canada, the Middle East, and Asia. - manager and artistic producer of so many theatre companies and art festivals such as the Radical Theater Repertory, Rhode Island Theater Festival, the, New Theater Festival, the Living Theatre, and World of Culture for Performing Arts. - directed many performances, some of which are: Viet Nam and Smaller Pieces, The House of the Dogs, Seduction, and Palestine, - took part as an actor in a number of movies such as Animal Factory, In the Soup, Alexa, Signals Through the Flames, and others, - Played the leaking roles in various works for theatre and TV. - Authored a lot of books, and contributed to a lot of journals, periodicals, and magazines. - Participated in a very large number of conferences and seminars on arts and culture. He is also a member of many associations and foundations.

Amongst such awards are: Best Actor Award in Iraq in 1973 and 1984, Best playwright in Iraq in 1984. He was also theatrical pioneer in 1985 and he was the Guest of Honor in the 12th session of the Cairo International Festival for Experimental Theatre (2000).
- a distinguished writer, critic, journalist, and translator. - Immediately after she obtained her B.A. in English Literature from Cairo University in 1962, she worked in the Middle East News Agency until 1967. - Worked as a theatre critic in Al-Gomhouriyya newspaper (1967- 1975) and in Al- Akhbar (1975- 1990). -Chaired the Cultural Section in Al- Ahaly weekly (1982- 1988) and she has been the Editor of the Monthly Adab wa Naqd (Literature and Criticism) since 1987. she regularly contributed to Al- Ahaly and Al- Masy Al- yawm. Took part as a jury member in a number of festivals of documentaries and theatrical productions of the cultural palaces. - Published a lot of her articles, reviews, and studies in such periodicals and journals as Al- Adaab Derassat Arabiyya (Beirut), Al- Nahj and Al- Maarefa (Syria), Al- Taliaa and Ibdaa (Egypt), Nizwa (Omman), and Al- Arabi (Kuwait). -Author of five books, two of which are on her experience when she was sent to jail for political reasons: they are: Al- Sejn wa Al- Watan (jail and Gomeland) and Al- Sejhn: Damaatan wa Warda (jail: two Tears and a Rose) One of ger bookd which is to com soon in entitled A- Masrah.... And Egypt. - Participated in many works for TV and cinema.

Germany. - Authored two books: Reverberation Machines: The Worlds of Richard Foreman and The 20th century polyphonic Theatre- The Art and the World and as a History -Translated into Japanese a number of books such as Kantor’s the theatre of Death and Shank’s American Alternative Theater. -Published many articles and researches on arts in the most widespread Japanese and international journals.
- An outstanding theatre director and professor of theatrical arts. - Studied theatre sciences and directing in the most prestigious German universities and academies. - Worked as a director of so many performances produced by the top German and European theater companies such as Rostock, Gera, Leipzig, Kopenhagen. And others. Amongst the works he directed are the following: The Taming of the Srew, Romeo and Juliet, and Othello. -Taught the art of acting at such arts academies as Berlin, Rostock, and Leipzig. - Published many articles and researches on arts in the most widespread Japanese and international journals.
- A distinguished actor and director. - Obtained his B.A and M.A from the shanghai Teatre Academy. - Amongst the successful productions he directed are White snake, Passport, Big Bridge, The Last Empress, Betrayal, Antigone, and many others. - Collaborated with several theatre companies as an actor and director; he worked with the shanghai Youth Theatre Company, the East Shanghai Workers Culture Palace Theatre, The Shanghai Peking Opera Theatre, and the Japan PARCO Group.
