The Press Conference For Experimental Theatre

The Minister of Culture, Mr. Farouk Housni will hold a press conference at eight o’clock (Thursday, 29^th August 2002). The Minister will point out the final preparations made for the 14^th Cairo International Festival For Experimental Theater, which will start on the 1^st of September; during a period of ten consecutive days there will be performances in all Cairo theatres affiliated to the Ministry of Culture. The conference will be attended by Dr. Fawzy Fahmy, the President of the Festival, the committee members, the heads of the participant countries delegations. In addition to a number of press and media journalists, Arab and International correspondents and news agencies. The conference will be held at the main hall for the Supreme Council of Culture, Cairo Opera House Area.

The CDF (the press center) issues a daily trilingual publication “The Experimental” (Arabic, English, French). “The Experimental” covers the events of the festival and is a daily guide to the festival’s offerings.
