press conference

 for a new session of (AISS)

 

Arch. Mohamed Abu Seada director of the culture development fund & Sculptor Adam Henien, “General Commissar of Aswan International Sculpture Symposium (AISS) will hold a press conference to announce the arrangements of the 17th session which have a participation from 4 countries: Bulgaria – Spain – Cuba - Taiwan & Egypt.

The conference will be attended by the symposium high committee members, plastic art critics In addition to a number of press and media journalists, Arab and International correspondents, and Participating Sculptors in this session

 The press conference will held on Thursday January 19th, at 12:00 p.m in the Conference Hall of the Supreme Council of Culture (Opera House area – El Gizerah)

Aswan International Symposium for Sculpture restored the art of sculpture in granite. An art that faded by time, with very scarce individual exceptions. That hard stone surrendered to the ancient Egyptian artist hands, and showed it’s flexibility under his touches, allowing him to use it in building the most prominent and important civilization of mankind. 

The symposium awakened a dream that has fade
